COLLECTING SKATEBOARDS FOR YOUTH IN AFRICA!
WHO WE ARE
Boards 4 Africa is a collective of skateboarders who come together to spread the stoke of skateboarding to Africa.
WHAT WE DO
Many of the members are African born and raised and understand the everyday struggles of being a skateboarder in Africa. Some have relocated overseas while some remained on the continent and they use this connection to help source skateboarding gear in Switzerland and supply the local African skaters.
WHERE THE SKATEBOARDS GO?
We collect second hand skateboards from the local skateboarders and skate shops across Switzerland. We then ship a container with second-hand boards and equipment from Switzerland to various countries across Africa. Once there, the boards are distributed to the local skateboarding youth and grassroots movements in the communities.
